Marko Glogović

Violin

Marko Glogović (1999) graduated in violin from the Academy of Music in Zagreb, in the class of Professor Davor Philips. He began his musical education at the age of six at the Ivan Zajc Elementary Music School in Zagreb, where he studied violin with Professor Ines Ana Tomić. After only a few months of playing, he entered the international string competition “Rudolf Matz,” where he won a special prize.

Throughout his education, he achieved numerous successes and awards at various national and international competitions.

In 2009, he continued his musical education at the Pavle Markovac Music School in Zagreb, and from 2010 he studied violin with Professor Davor Philips, in whose class he enrolled at the Academy of Music in 2017.

As a soloist, he has performed with the Zagreb Soloists, the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra, the String Orchestra of the Academy of Music, and the Orchestra of Professors of the Pavle Markovac Music School.

Since 2020, he has been an external associate of the Zagreb Soloists, becoming a permanent member in 2025.

At the end of 2022, he successfully passed an audition for membership in the Croatian Radiotelevision Symphony Orchestra (HRT Symphony Orchestra), where he has served as Deputy Concertmaster since 2024.

For his performance of Aram Khachaturian’s Violin Concerto with the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra, he was awarded the Rector’s Award for the academic year 2018/2019.
