Violin

Ivan Novinc Violin Ivan Novinc (Zagreb, 1978) graduated in 2000 and in 2009 he obtained his master’s degree from the Academy of Music in Zagreb (Maja Dešpalj-Begović). He improved at master classes. He won the Stjepan Šulek Award for 2004 for the performance of a composition for violin and the Annual Award of the Association of University Professors to young scientists and artists for artistic achievements in the 2008/2009 academic year. and high prizes at national competitions as a soloist and as a member of the Porin Quartet. He performed as a soloist and as a member of chamber ensembles in Croatia and abroad.

 

Since 1998, he has been the first violin of the Porin String Quartet, since 2001, concertmaster of the Cantus ensemble, from 2002 to 2006, deputy concertmaster of the Zagreb Philharmonic, and since 2004, concertmaster of the Zadar Chamber Orchestra. He collaborated with a number of prominent artists. Since 2010, he has been an assistant professor at the Academy of Music in Zagreb.
