Violin

Ivan Novinc graduated in 2000. at the Music Academy in Zagreb in class of prof. Maya Dešpalj-Begović in which the master’s 2009th year. He has won prizes in national competitions as a soloist and as a member of the Porin Quartet, whose first violinist. He has performed as a soloist and as a member of chamber ensembles in Croatia and abroad (Slovenia, France, USA, Spain, Austria, Italy, Germany, Turkey, United States, Japan, Sweden, Argentina, China, Canada …).

Since 1998, the first violin Porin String Quartet, since 2001. concertmaster of the Cantus Ensemble, since 2002. to 2006. deputy concertmaster of the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra since 2004. concertmaster of the Zadar Chamber Orchestra. From 2006. concerts with pianist Srdjan Caldarovic and guitarist Tvrtko Saric.

During his concert work he collaborated with a number of prominent artists: Dunja Vejzovic, Monika Leskovar, Stefan Milenkovic, Enrico Dindo, Aleksandar Milošev Petrit Ceku.

He attended master classes with prof. Maxim Fedotov, seminars STRINGS ONLY in Zadar with prof. Maya Despalj-Begovic, prof. Valter Despalj, M. Maurer, L. Honda, and in Austria by members of Famous Amadeus Quartet, Alban Berg, Bartok, Janacek and Prague Quartet. 2000 winner of the scholarship of Zagreb, University scholarships and the Dean’s Award.

With Porin Quartet won the Special Dean’s Award for 2000., The first prize at the Tribune Of Young Artists-“Radio Stage 2000” and the 34th Tribune “Darko Lukic” 2000/2001 Award “IVO Vuljević” for most outstanding achievement of young musicians in 2002. year of graduation and “Milk Trnine” for the 2007 year.

2003rd was awarded the prize “Darko Lukic” for solo performance at the 36th Panel “Darko Lukic” 2002/2003. He was awarded with the “Stjepan Sulek” prize, for 2004. year for the performance of a composition for violin and the annual award of university professors, young scientists and artists for achievements in the academic year 2008/2009.

From 2010. he is an Assistant Professor at the Music Academy in Zagreb.
