Two composers, four soloists, Four seasons: baroque and 20th century - northern and southern hemisphere

The musical courtyards of the Zagreb soloists, for which tickets are requested year after year, will be celebrated this year by Antonio Vivaldi and Franz Schubert on September 6 and 8 in our courtyard on St. Mark square 9. Places for the recognizable musical event, which we send off the summer in cooperation with the Zagreb Tourist Board, will be limited, and priority will be given to our subscribers.

Two composers, four soloists, Four seasons: baroque and 20th century – northern and southern hemisphere

 

Four soloists, violinists from the Zagreb Soloists perform the Four Seasons, a baroque composition by Antonio Vivaldi and one of the most famous compositions in the history of music, as well as their twentieth-century version with a view from the southern hemisphere – Astor Piazzolla’s successful tango!

Towards the 225th anniversary of Franz Schubert: Classics and ragtime

 

Zagreb soloists perform dance compositions, overtures and famous piano ragtimes by Scott Joplin in a string arrangement. As a prelude to the 225th anniversary of the birth of Franz Schubert, the Zagreb Soloists will hold the world premiere of the Sonata for Violin and Piano in D major, Op.137, D 384, arranged for the Zagreb Soloists by their concertmaster Sreten Krstić.
