Zagreb soloists again at the BEMUS festival

On Tuesday, November 10, the Zagreb soloists will perform again at the prestigious Belgrade festival BEMUS. The Belgrade Music Festival - BEMUS, founded in 1969, represents the oldest and most important music festival in Serbia and one of the most recognizable art music festivals in Southeastern Europe, enjoying the status of a cultural manifestation of special importance for the entire region.

The Zagreb soloists last performed in 2016, which was their first performance at that famous festival after almost 30 years. This time, in the performance of the Flute Concerto in G major, K313, they will be joined by Irena Grafenauer, one of the world’s greatest flautists, a former member of the St Martin-in-the-Fields Orchestra and the Munich Philharmonic.

In addition to Mozart, the Zagreb Soloists in Belgrade will also perform Two Movements for Strings by the composer Frano Parać, which the Zagreb Soloists, after a successful premiere at the celebratory concert on the occasion of the Ensemble’s 65th anniversary, are already performing around the world.
