The passenger terminal of the Franjo Tuđman Airport was today another stage in a series of Zagreb soloists in this year’s project marking the 65th anniversary of their first performance.
Before boarding the plane, on which they are traveling to attend a prestigious festival in South Korea, the Zagreb soloists prepared a unique event of wonderful music for the passengers, who had the opportunity to enjoy famous compositions by Mozart, Boccherini and Piazzolla in the international departure area.
“It is an honor for us to play in such a beautiful venue, which is the pride of the people of Zagreb, and I must also admit that it is very acoustic, so I believe we will do it again. We know that the airport has been declared the best in Europe by passengers, and we hope that we have contributed to that status today. Thank you to everyone who stopped and applauded before our trip to South Korea,” said violinist Krunoslav Marić, president of the Governing Council of the Zagreb Soloists ensemble.
